I was born and raised in Austin, Texas.

I started my teaching career at Hays CISD in December 2012. I also taught at Waelder HS (Waelder ISD) for one year (2013-2014) before returning to Hays CISD in 2015. I taught Algebra 1 and Algebra 2 at Lehman HS. In 2019, I came to Johnson, teaching Algebra 1 then Algebra 2 for two years. And now, starting the 2022-23 school year, I am in the CTE department, ready to focus on all things video game-related.

Before teaching, I was in the video game industry for about 25 years, where I did everything from being a professional video game player, magazine editor, and video game production (Producer and QA).
