My name is Sam Carlin and I am originally from San Antonio, Texas graduating from MacArthur HS in 2001.  I have been married to my wife Maurisa for 17 years.  My wife is a primary teacher in Hays CISD and our son Tyson is a 8th grader next door at Dahlstrom MS.  

This will be my 18th year as an educator with stops in Northside ISD, North East ISD, Waxahachie ISD, and now Hays CISD.  I graduated from Texas Tech University and I received my Master's degree in Educational Administration from Lamar University.  I am the Athletic Coordinator and Head Football Coach at Moe and Gene Johnson HS.  My family and I are excited to begin another year in Big Cat Country.
