Horace Mann League and the National Superintendents Roundtable collaborated to develop an infographic on the impact of public education and the work that lies ahead. Key findings found that for every racial and ethnic group in the United States, student achievement is higher than it was in the 1970s. According to the infographic, getting to the next level will require policymakers to address out-of-school factors influencing achievement including the high levels of student poverty and the amount of support for families.
