Welcome to Buda Elementary, Home of the Bulldogs!

I am so excited to begin my journey as your Buda Elementary Principal for the 2024-2025 school year!  This is my 27^th year in education.  Throughout my career I've had the privilege of serving as both an elementary classroom teacher and a Middle School Language Arts Teacher, as well as an Elementary and Middle School Assistant Principal.  I hold both a bachelor's degree in applied Learning in Development from the University of Texas at Austin and a master's degree in educational administration from Texas State University.  

I am committed to creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment where students are curious, motivated, and excited to explore new ideas. Our dedicated teachers work hard to inspire and empower every student to grow and succeed.

This year, we continue our journey as a Leader in Me school, where we believe every student is a leader, and positive change starts with each of us. We will continue to focus on making the 7 Habits part of our daily routine, helping students find their voice, and developing life-ready leaders.

We invite you to get involved by joining our PTA, volunteering at school events, and supporting your child’s education. Together, we can make this school year a successful and memorable one. Let’s work together to ensure every student thrives and enjoys learning at Buda Elementary!
