Assistant Principal

My name is Lynsey Brown, I am excited and honored to serve the Carpenter Hill Elementary community. I was born and raised in Harlingen, TX. Upon graduation, I attended Texas State University where I obtained my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I spent 15 years in the classroom and 3 years as a Math and Reading Interventionist. I then obtained my degree in administration and served as the assistant principal at Blazier Elementary in Austin ISD.
When I am not at school, I enjoy running, walking our dog and spending time with my family. We love vacations to the beach, exploring outdoors and being outside. My family, who is my biggest fan, have seen me through countless 5K and 10K races, 5 half marathons and 1 full marathon. They have shown me that what you put in, is what you take away. I am ready to put in 100% to see that our students understand and advocate for their needs to become successful learners and leaders!
