    Two positions on the Board of Trustees are scheduled for election in 2018 - Single Member District 3 and an At-Large position. The filing period for the 2018 election ended at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 16, 2018.

    Hays CISD has entered into a joint election agreement with the City of Hays because it will benefit the voters to be served by a common polling location and to meet school district election requirements in the Texas Education Code.
